We make a big splash by giving away 100,000 generated faces. They’re featured in popular outlets, such as The New York Times, Verge, Washington Post, and VICE. However, there's still a lot of work ahead. Those first 100K are all too perfect, as if retouched for a glossy magazine. Users are requesting faces that appear more natural and authentic.

We conduct a series of additional photoshoots with ordinary people and fine-tune our model to produce exceptionally natural-looking faces. The gallery grows up to 2 million diverse faces. Users can search the gallery using specific parameters. Plus, we launch the Anonymizer, helping people protect their biometrics, and started offering datasets for machine learning.

We launch Face Generator, the only tool on the internet for creating custom faces in real-time: all ages, skin tones, head positions, and complete range of emotions. The face gallery hits 2.6M.
